Taxon description
Gatunek obejmujący zasięgiem zachodnią, południową i środkową część Europy, notowany też z południowej Szwecji i Finlandii. W Polsce chrząszcz rzadko spotykany, wykazany z nielicznych stanowisk w południowo-zachodniej części kraju. Żeruje na bylicach — Artemisia L., marunie — Tripleurospermum Schultz i na innych rodzajach pokrewnych.
