Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1995:
Gatunek rozsiedlony od zachodniej części Afryki Północnej przez prawie całą Europę aż do Syberii. W Polsce notowany z nielicznych rozproszonych stanowisk w różnych częściach kraju. Poławiany na sośnie zwyczajnej — Pinus silvestris L., sośnie czarnej — P. nigra Arnold i limbie — P. cembra L. Larwy żerują pod korą w obumierających gałęziach i konarach, w których drążą chodniki dochodzące do rdzenia.
