Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1985:

Występuje głównie w środkowej części Europy, docierając na północ do południowych prowincji Fennoskandii, na zachód do wschodniej Francji, a na południe do Hiszpanii, środkowych Włoch i Rumunii. W Polsce znany z nielicznych rozproszonych stanowisk tylko w siedmiu krainach. Zamieszkuje tereny nizinne i pagórkowate oraz niższe położenia górskie. Chrząszcze są poławiane od maja do lipca, potem pojedynczo w sierpniu, w lasach liściastych na roślinności trawiastej i zielnej.
