Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1978:
Gatunek zasiedlający południową i środkową Europę, wykazywany również z Danii i trzech południowych prowincji Szwecji. W Polsce z wyjątkiem wysokich gór występuje prawdopodobnie wszędzie, ale brak danych z wielu krain. Znajdowany przeważnie w gniazdach kreta, rzadziej pod gnijącymi resztkami roślinnymi, w kompoście i zmurszałym drewnie.
