Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1997:
Gatunek rozprzestrzeniony w środkowej i południowej części Europy, sięgający na wschód po Kaukaz i Azję Mniejszą. Zamieszkuje suche i ciepłe miejsca piaszczyste. Żyje wyłącznie na babce piaskowej — Plantago indica L. (P. arenaria W.K.). Larwa żeruje w torebce nasiennej.
