Taxon description
Gatunek znany głównie z południowo-zachodniej Europy, wykazywany również z nielicznych stanowisk w Europie środkowej i jednej południowej prowincji Szwecji. W Polsce niedawno odkryty na Babiej Górze. Ogólnikowo, bez bliższych danych, wykazany ze Śląska przed przeszło stu laty przez E. Reittera i na tej podstawie wielokrotnie z tego obszaru wykazywany przez innych autorów, jednak o występowaniu omawianego gatunku na Śląsku wątpi A. Horion (1960). Rośliną żywicielską jest urzet barwierski — Isatis tinctoria L.
