Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1986a:
Bardzo rzadko spotykany gatunek o słabo poznanym zasięgu, znany z nielicznych okazów łowionych na Półwyspie Iberyjskim, we Francji, Włoszech i w Dalmacji. A. Horion (1960) wątpi w prawdziwość dawnych danych o występowaniu tego gatunku w środkowej Europie (Austria, Niemcy, Polska). Omawianego gatunku nie zalicza się do fauny naszego kraju. Wzmianki o znalezieniu na Nizinie Mazowieckiej i w Beskidzie opierały się prawdopodobnie na okazach, zawleczonych lub omyłkowo zaetykietowanych. Rośliną żywicielską jest szanta zwyczajna — Marrubium vulgare L.
