Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1985:
Rozsiedlony w południowej i środkowej części Europy; wykazywany ponadto z Kaukazu, Iranu i Algierii. W Polsce znany z nielicznych, przeważnie pojedynczych, stanowisk w poszczególnych krainach w różnych częściach kraju. Zamieszkuje tereny nizinne i wyżynne do wysokości około 1900 m n.p.m.; jest poławiany od kwietnia do lipca, przeważnie na kwitnących sosnach i głogach oraz listowiu dębów.
Kuśka 1995:
Gatunek kserofilny, być może jest reliktem zimnego i zarazem suchego klimatu z późnego plejstocenu lub wczesnego holocenu. Występuje wcześnie na wiosnę. Biologia nie znana.
Znany z Europy środkowej i południowej, Algierii, Kaukazu; na północy notowany z okolic Kaliningradu (Bercio, Folwaczny 1979).
