Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1974:
Gatunek o szerokim rozsiedleniu. Zamieszkuje prawie całą Europę (prócz północnej części Fennoskandii), Syberię, Kaukaz i część zachodniej Azji. Żyje na otwartych, nasłonecznionych glebach piaszczystych lub żwirowatych, zawierających niekiedy domieszkę gliny. W zimie spotykany czasami gromadnie pod mchem lub korą przy podstawie pni drzew.
