Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1997:

Mało znany gatunek, wykazywany z nielicznych stanowisk w środkowej części Europy (nie znany z Austrii, wschodniej Francji i północnej Szwajcarii), notowany ponadto z Danii i południowych prowincji Szwecji. W Polsce stwierdzony tylko w trzech krainach. Żyje wyłącznie na wrotyczu pospolitym — Tanacetum vulgare L., roślinie występującej na przydrożach, wzgórzach, brzegach lasu, aluwiach rzecznych, miejscach ruderalnych i w zaroślach. Postacie dojrzałe spotykano na roślinach od maja do września. Larwy odbywają rozwój w łodygach.
