Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1978:
Gatunek rozprzestrzeniony od Wysp Brytyjskich i południowych części Fennoskandii przez całą środkową Europę aż do Pirenejów, Włoch, Grecji i Ukraińskiej SRR. W Polsce rzadko i sporadycznie, przeważnie pojedynczo spotykany. Występuje w lasach liściastych lub mieszanych w murszejącym drewnie, przeważnie dębów, w dziuplach, pod korą, mchem, w gniazdach mrówek Formica rufa L. oraz gatunków z rodzaju Lasius F.
