Taxon description
Szeroko rozpowszechniony gatunek palearktyczny, wykazany również z Ameryki Północnej. Jest najczęściej spotykanym gatunkiem omawianego rodzaju. W Polsce występuje prawdopodobnie w całym kraju, nie znany jednak jeszcze z niektórych krain. Spotykany w lasach, pod napływkami nad strumieniami, opadłym listowiem, a na polach i łąkach pod gnijącymi szczątkami roślinnymi.
