Taxon description
Gatunek rozsiedlony w środkowej, zachodniej i południowej Europie, poza tym wykazany z Azji Mniejszej i Kaukazu. W Polsce dość rzadko i sporadycznie spotykany. Zasiedla pobrzeża górskich i podgórskich wód, najczęściej spotykany w napływkach po wylewie rzek.
