Szelegiewicz 1968:
Rozmieszczenie słabo poznane. Znany dotąd z Karpat: Polska, Czechosłowacja i gór Changaj w Mongolii.
Gatunek holocykliczny i jednodomny. Żeruje na czubkach pędów wrześni przybrzeżnej — Myricaria germanica (L.) Desv.
