Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1978:
Gatunek rozprzestrzeniony głównie w zachodniej i środkowej Europie oraz lokalnie w Hiszpanii, Włoszech, Chorwacji i Rumunii. W środkowej Europie bardzo rzadko i sporadycznie, najczęściej pojedynczo spotykany. W Polsce znany z nielicznych rozproszonych stanowisk w południowej części kraju. Zasiedla głównie tereny pagórkowate i niższe położenia górskie. Znajdowany pod opadłymi, przegrzybiałymi liśćmi, zwłaszcza buka, wśród mchów na starych pniach i pieńkach, pod korą i w dziuplach dębów i buków oraz w sąsiedztwie gniazd mrówek.
