Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1980:
Gatunek szeroko rozprzestrzeniony w Palearktyce, znany prawie z całej Europy prócz jej krańców północnych. W Polsce występuje prawdopodobnie w całym kraju, ale nie znany jeszcze z wielu krain. Występuje zarówno na terenach nizinnych, jak i w niższych położeniach górskich, zasiedlając otwarte przestrzenie na pastwiskach, łąkach, polach uprawnych, suchych stokach i skarpach. Łowiony pod kamieniami, ekskrementami, nawozem, gnijącymi roślinami oraz napływkami na łąkach zalewanych wodami powodziowymi.
