Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1987:

Gatunek szeroko rozmieszczony w Europie, notowany niemal ze wszystkich krajów (nie znany z Wysp Brytyjskich i Norwegii), wykazywany także z Kaukazu, Azji Mniejszej i Syberii, gdzie dociera do Ałtaju. W Polsce, aczkolwiek brak jeszcze udokumentowanych danych o jego rozmieszczeniu w niektórych krainach, występuje prawdopodobnie na całym obszarze prócz wyższych partii górskich. Zasiedla tereny nizinne i niższe położenia górskie, docierając do górnej granicy regla dolnego. Postacie dojrzałe występują na pobrzeżach lasu, zrębach i łąkach śródleśnych, gdzie poławiano je w czerwcu i lipcu, na trawach, kwiatach bylin i roślin zielnych.
