Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1986a:
Gatunek rozsiedlony w południowej i środkowej części Europy, wykazywany też z Algierii i Zabajkala. Na ogół występuje lokalnie, przeważnie na stanowiskach kserotermicznych. W Polsce znany dotychczas tylko z ośmiu krain. Jako rośliny żywicielskie były podawane: pępawa dwuletnia — Crepis biennis L., kocanki piaskowe — Helichrysum arenarium (L.) Moench., oraz szarota — Gnaphalium L. i jastrzębiec — Hieracium L. Postacie dojrzałe przezimowują wśród korzeni traw i roślin zielnych.
