Taxon description
Gatunek występujący w prawie całej Europie, notowany nadto z Kaukazu i Ameryki Północnej. W Polsce występuje prawdopodobnie w całym kraju, nie notowany jednak jeszcze z kilku krain. Występuje zarówno na niżu jak i w górach, gdzie sięga ponad górną granicę lasu. Znajdowany pod różnego rodzaju szczątkami organicznymi, w gniazdach ptaków i w norach gryzoni, a wiosną na kwitnących krzewach.
