Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 2000:

Gatunek opisany z Anglii, rozprzestrzeniony głównie w północnej części Europy, w Szwecji docierający do koła podbiegunowego; w Europie Środkowej notowany ogólnikowo z Niemiec, Polski, Austrii, północnej Szwajcarii i Danii. Z Polski stosunkowo niedawno wykazany z siedmiu krain, przeważnie z pojedynczych stanowisk; prawdopodobnie występuje w całym kraju z wyjątkiem wyższych partii górskich. Zasiedla wilgotne lasy liściaste, lasy łęgowe, doliny rzeczne. Poławiany pod odstającą, zapleśniałą korą drzew liściastych, na ściętych pniach bukowych pokrytych pleśnią oraz na świeżych grzybach nadrzewnych.
