Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1993:
Szeroko rozsiedlony gatunek od Azji Środkowej po Europę Południową oraz ciepłe obszary w południowej części Europy Środkowej. W Polsce notowany z nielicznych stanowisk na Wyżynie Małopolskiej, Wyżynie Lubelskiej oraz z Krakowa. Występuje głównie w biotopach kserotermicznych; poławiano go od lutego do września na suchych murawach, nasłonecznionych zboczach i w zaroślach kserotermicznych. Obserwowano żerowanie chrząszczy na koniczynie białej — Trifolium repens L. oraz na janowcach — Genista L.
