Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1981:
Gatunek rozmieszczony od Pirenejów, środkowych Włoch, Rumunii i Kaukazu przez całą środkową część Europy aż do Wysp Brytyjskich i południowej części Fennoskandii. W Polsce spotykany sporadycznie i dość rzadko zarówno na terenach nizinnych, jak i górzystych. Spotykany najczęściej w dziuplach drzew zasiedlonych przez mrówki Lasius fuliginosus (Latr.) oraz w pobliżu pod kamieniami, wśród mchów i pod opadłym listowiem.
