Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1981:
Gatunek europejsko-syberyjski, rozpowszechniony w całej północnej i środkowej części Europy, sporadycznie i rzadko spotykany we Włoszech, Chorwacji i Bośni. W Polsce notowany z nielicznych miejscowości w różnych częściach kraju. Występuje zarówno na terenach nizinnych, jak i górzystych, gdzie sięga ponad górną granicę lasu aż do strefy kosodrzewiny. Spotykany przeważnie w gniazdach mrówek Lasius fuliginosus (Latr.), rzadziej L. brunneus (Latr.) i gatunków z rodzaju Formica L., niekiedy także w sąsiedztwie mrowisk — w starych drzewach u podstawy pni, w pieńkach, ściółce i pod opadłymi liśćmi.
