Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1986b:
Gatunek występujący lokalnie w południowej i środkowej części Europy, przy czym według A. Horiona (1961) ma rozerwany zasięg w Europie Środkowej na skutek wpływu warunków klimatycznych podczas epoki lodowej. W Polsce należy do rzadkości. Jest notowany jedynie z trzech krain. Dane Fejfera (1924) dotyczą C. histeroides (Fabr.) (S. Ślipiński*). Znajdowano go w murszejącym drewnie buków i dębów oraz pod ich odstającą korą.
