Taxon description
Pospolity gatunek palearktyczny, w Fennoskandii sięgający daleko poza koło podbiegunowe, nadto wykazany z Ameryki Północnej. W Polsce w zadrzewieniach zapewne na całym obszarze. Występuje pod korą głównie drzew iglastych, znajdowany w chodnikach korników, zwłaszcza cetyńca większego — Blastophagus piniperda (L.).
