Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1993:
Gatunek rozmieszczony w zachodniej i południowej części Europy, w środkowej części wykazywany tylko z Niemiec i Danii, notowany ponadto z Syberii i Algierii. W Polsce nie jest stwierdzony w sposób pewny; notowano go z nielicznych stanowisk w czterech tylko krainach, przy czym wzmianki o jego występowaniu opierają się na znaleziskach z ubiegłego stulecia. Po roku 1910 nie był zaliczony do fauny krajowej (M. Łomnicki 1913, S. Smreczyński 1966, Lucht 1987). Występuje głównie w biotopach kserotermicznych. Jest gatunkiem polifagicznym, żerującym na różnych roślinach zielnych oraz krzewach i drzewach.
