Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1979:
Omawiany podgatunek w Polsce rzadko obserwowany. Występuje na pobrzeżach potoków i rzek, znajdowany przeważnie pod kamieniami i napływkami. Ponieważ w dawnym piśmiennictwie nie wyróżniano dwu omawianych podgatunków, na pewno część danych dotyczących podgatunku nominatywnego należy odnieść do Lobrathium (Platydomene) sodale distinctiventre (Koch). Rozmieszczenie obu podgatunków wymaga dalszych badań.
