Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1980:
Gatunek rozmieszczony głównie w środkowej Europie, sięgający ku północy po Wyspy Brytyjskie, Danię, południową część Fennoskandii i Karelską ASRR, a na południe do północnych Włoch i Bałkanów. W Polsce znany z nielicznych stanowisk, przy tym dawne dane z Gdańska, Roztocza i Sudetów oparte są na znaleziskach w ubiegłym stuleciu, dlatego też winny być potwierdzone nowymi materiałami. Zamieszkuje tereny nizinne i niższe położenia górskie, występuje w lasach, na torfowiskach, wrzosowiskach, polach, w dolach po wydobytej glinie i piasku. Poławiany pod gnijącą roślinnością, ekskrementami, kamieniami, wśród mchów, w ściółce i na padlinie.
