Taxon description
Gatunek o niedostatecznie poznanym rozmieszczeniu ogólnym, wykazywany z nielicznych stanowisk we Francji, w Szwajcarii, Niemczech, Austrii, Polsce i na Węgrzech. Ogólnikowa wzmianka o występowaniu w Polsce (Hoffmann 1958) została stosunkowo niedawno potwierdzona szczegółowymi danymi o znalezieniu tego chrząszcza w Beskidzie Wschodnim. Bionomia poznana słabo. Postacie dojrzałe poławiano w maju-wrześniu. Larwy były obserwowane w główkach kwiatowych koniczyny pogiętej — Trifolium medium L.
