Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1992:
Gatunek rozsiedlony w południowej, zachodniej i środkowej części Europy, notowany ponadto z Algierii. W Polsce znany z nielicznych rozproszonych stanowisk w różnych częściach kraju, przy czym wiele danych opiera się na znaleziskach sprzed przeszło stu lat, przez co wymagają one potwierdzenia nowymi materiałami. Występuje na janowcu barwierskim — Genista tinctoria L. i żarnowcu miotlastym — Sarothamnus scoparius (L.) Wimm., na którym larwa wywołuje wyrośla na łodygach. Bionomia tego gatunku nie jest znana dokładnie, postacie dojrzałe poławiano od kwietnia do września.
