Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1991:

Gatunek zamieszkujący głównie wybrzeża Afryki Północnej i południową część Europy, notowany też z krajów kaukaskich i Azji Mniejszej. W Europie na północ dociera do środkowej Francji, Nadrenii, Hesji, Turyngii i południowych przedgórzy Sudetów i Karpat. W Polsce w obecnych granicach jeszcze nie stwierdzony, ale istnieje prawdopodobieństwo odszukania go w południowej części kraju, gdyż znane są bliskie stanowiska na Słowacji i Morawach. Ogólnikowo wykazany ze Śląska na podstawie znalezisk poza naszymi granicami. Jako rośliny żywicielskie piśmiennictwo podaje pszonak drobnokwiatowy — Erisimum cheiranthoides L., pszonak pannoński — E. pannonicum Crantz, ubiorek okółkowy — Iberis umbellata L. oraz gorczycę polną — Sinapis arvensis L.
