Taxon description
Rzadki, zwykle pojedynczo spotykany gatunek europejski, rozmieszczony na północy europejskiej części ZSRR oraz od północnych części Hiszpanii i Włoch, Jugosławii i Rumunii do południowych części Anglii i Fęnnoskandii, notowany też z Kaukazu. Zasiedla suche, zarówno otwarte jak i leśne tereny, znajdowany na wrzosowiskach i torfowiskach, w jasnych lasach iglastych i mieszanych, często na wypaleniskach i pożarzyskach w towarzystwie Agonum (Agonodromius) quadripunctatum (Deg.).
