Taxon description
Gatunek o zasięgu ograniczonym głównie do obszarów górskich w środkowej i południowej Europie, na zachód sięgający do Francji, nadto wykazywany z Kaukazu, Azji Mniejszej i Turkmenii. W Polsce pewne stanowiska leżą na obszarach górzystych, dane z okolic nizinnych wymagają sprawdzenia. Występuje w lasach reglowych i w strefie kosodrzewiny. Poławiany wśród mchów na starych pniach i pieńkach oraz skałach, pod kamieniami i opadłymi liśćmi.
