Znany z Finlandii. Estonii, środkowej Rosji, Francji, Słowacji, Węgier, Rumunii, Kazachstanu, Tadżykistanu i Mongolii. Żyje na wierzbach, w Polsce na rokicie (Salix rosmarinifolia L.).
