Kawecki 1985:
Gatunek rozpowszechniony w szklarniach lub na hodowanych roślinach pokojowych. W Polsce pospolity, wielokrotnie wykazywany przez wielu autorów. Czyżewski (1975) wymienia go wśród gatunków najbardziej szkodliwych dla roślin szklarniowych. W krajach o klimacie ciepłym szkodnik zwłaszcza roślin cytrusowych; w klimacie umiarkowanym w pomieszczeniach ogrzewanych. Polifag.
