Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1978:
Gatunek zamieszkujący głównie Środkową i wschodnią Europę, wykazywany również z Siedmiogrodu. W Polsce znany z nielicznych rozproszonych stanowisk. Żyje w zmurszałym drewnie oraz w próchnie dziuplastych drzew liściastych, znajdowany również w gniazdach Lasius brunneus (Latr.) i Lasius fuliginosus (Latr.).
