Taxon description

Szelegiewicz 1968:

Europa: Skandynawia, Polska, europejska część ZSRR; Japonia.
Gatunek holocykliczny i jednodomny. Żeruje w niewielkich koloniach na liściach trzcinnika piaskowego — Calamagrostis epigeios (L.) Roth, zawsze odwiedzany przez mrówki. Żerowanie mszyc powoduje lekkie zwijanie się i zasychanie liści.
