Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1978:
Gatunek górski występujący w Pirenejach, Alpach i Karpatach. W Polsce notowany z kilku stanowisk w Sudetach przed przeszło 50 laty oraz ogólnikowo ze Śląska i Karpat. Omyłkowo wykazany z okolic Krakowa (M. Łomnicki 1886) na podstawie błędnego oznaczenia Silpha (Silpha) carinata carinata Herbst. Do tego gatunku odnoszą się również dane z Karpat i Galicji (Holdhaus i Lindroth 1939). Według A. Horiona (1949) wzmianki o występowaniu w Sudetach oparte są tylko na kilkakrotnych znaleziskach we wschodniej części tego obszaru (Altvater) po stronie czechosłowackiej. Z uwagi na brak okazów dowodowych trzeba odnośne dane z wymienionych obszarów uznać za nie sprawdzone. Zasiedla w górach strefę subalpejską i alpejską, najczęściej spotykany na pastwiskach górskich.
