Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1997:
Szeroko rozpowszechniony gatunek w Europie prócz obszarów północnych Fennoskandii, notowany ponadto z Kaukazu. W Polsce poławiany rzadko i sporadycznie, notowany z nielicznych stanowisk tylko w dziesięciu krainach. Występuje głównie na glebach wapiennych. Poławiany na polach, pastwiskach, miejscach ruderalnych i w ogrodach. Żyje na dymnicy pospolitej — Fumaria officinalis L. Larwa żeruje w części podstawowej łodygi, powodując na niej wyrosła; przeobrażenie odbywa w ziemi.
