Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1978:
Gatunek o niedostatecznie znanym rozmieszczeniu; poza Polską notowany dotychczas z Wysp Brytyjskich, Holandii, Danii, Fennoskandii, Francji, Szwajcarii i północno-zachodnich Włoch. Wszędzie rzadko spotykany. Według A. Peeza (1972) w środkowej Europie znane są tylko niepewne dwa stanowiska leżące na Pomorzu; również A. Horion (1966) wątpi o zasiedleniu wymienionego terenu przez omawiany gatunek. Z uwagi na zastrzeżenia obu tych autorów występowanie współczesne Hydnobius perrisii Fairm. powinno być potwierdzone nowymi materiałami. Warunki ekologiczne słabo poznane; według A. Lüllwitza (1916) okaz dowodowy z Koszalina był schwytany w locie wieczorem na wydmie.
