Taxon description
Heintze 1990:
Motyl rzadki, spotykany pojedynczo, lata w dwu pokoleniach: pierwszym w V i VI oraz drugim w VIII. Gąsienice żerują na dębach, topolach i wierzbach w VI i VII oraz IX. Przepoczwarczają się w oprzędach na ziemi. Zimują poczwarki drugiego pokolenia gąsienic.
