Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1991:
Gatunek rozprzestrzeniony w północnej Afryce, południowej i środkowej części Europy oraz Azji Mniejszej; notowany poza tym z Wysp Brytyjskich, Danii i dwu południowych prowincji Szwecji. W Polsce, aczkolwiek nie jest jeszcze notowany z wielu krain, występuje prawdopodobnie na całym obszarze prócz wyższych partii górskich. Występuje na różnych roślinach z rodziny złożonych — Compositae, poławiany najczęściej na chabrach — Centaurea L.
