Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1987:
Gatunek zamieszkujący południową i środkową część Europy; wszędzie rzadko i sporadycznie znajdowany. W Polsce należy do wielkich rzadkości, znany tylko z pojedynczych stanowisk w trzech krainach. Bardzo ciekawy jest fakt, że wykazywany był ogólnikowo ze Śląska przez licznych autorów, którzy prawdopodobnie opierali się na pierwszej wzmiance sprzed przeszło 130 lat, ale dotychczas brak bliższych danych o miejscu znalezienia. Wymagania ekologiczne i bionomia są poznane niedostatecznie. Według danych z piśmiennictwa rozwój larwalny odbywa się w gniazdach błonkówek z rodzaju pszczolinka — Andrena Fabr.
