Taxon description
Gatunek rozmieszczony od Wysp Brytyjskich i Fennoskandii przez całą środkową Europę aż do północnej części południowej Europy. W Polsce pospolity w całym kraju. Zamieszkuje wilgotne lasy, pobrzeża rowów i kałuż, prowadzi ukryty sposób życia pod opadłym listowiem, wśród mchów i gnijących szczątków roślinnych.
