Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1993:

Gatunek obejmujący zasięgiem zachodnią, południową i środkową część Europy, notowany ponadto z Wysp Brytyjskich, Danii i południowych prowincji Fennoskandii. W Polsce dość rzadko spotykany, notowany głównie z południowej części kraju, przeważnie z pojedynczych stanowisk, przy czym wzmianka sprzed stu lat o występowaniu w okolicy Cieszyna nie znalazła dotychczas potwierdzenia. Zasiedla suche tereny piaszczyste, zwłaszcza wrzosowiska. Postacie dojrzałe poławiano od kwietnia do sierpnia. Szczegóły bionomii i roślina żywicielska nie są znane.
