Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1976:
Gatunek rozprzestrzeniony w południowo-wschodniej, środkowej i północnej Europie, gdzie sięga daleko poza koło podbiegunowe, poza tym wykazywany z Azji Mniejszej i Syberii. Żyje w drobnych zbiornikach wodnych, najczęściej bajorkach leśnych, małych stawkach lub bagienkach z opadłymi liśćmi na dnie.
