Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1980:
Gatunek palearktyczny, wykazywany prawie z całej Europy z wyjątkiem jej skrajnych części północnych, notowany nadto ze wschodniej części Indii. W Polsce bardzo pospolity. Zamieszkuje głównie tereny nizinne i niższe położenia górskie. Spotykany w ciągu całego roku wśród mchów, w ściółce, pod kamieniami i rozkładającymi się szczątkami roślinnymi.
