Taxon description
Gatunek rozmieszczony w zachodniej i środkowej Europie, notowany również z Wysp Brytyjskich i południowej części Fennoskandii. W Polsce znany z nielicznych, rozproszonych stanowisk. Gatunek uważany za synantropijny. Spotykany najczęściej w pobliżu zabudowań w ogrodach, parkach, polach, łąkach i pobrzeżach lasu. Łowiony najczęściej w ciepłym kompoście, poza tym w ściółce, wśród gnijących szczątków roślinnych i pod kamieniami.
