Taxon description
Prószyński et Staręga 1971:
Podgatunek nominatywny znany jest z prawie całej Europy. Drugi podgatunek, Lepthyphantes zimmermanni spiniger Simon, 1929, żyje w Pirenejach i Alpach francuskich. Zamieszkuje runo i ściółkę lasów iglastych.
Według Wiehlego (1956) «Bathyphantes pygmaeus» Mengego (1866) należy zaliczyć do omawianego gatunku, a nie do Lepthyphantes mengei Kulcz.
