Taxon description
Rzadko spotykany gatunek, zasięg jego ograniczony do północnej Europy oraz północnej części środkowej Europy. Zasiedla ocienione bagna torfowe i wilgotne tereny leśne, żyje na podsiąkających wodą próchnicznych glebach, zwłaszcza porośniętych paprociami, spotykany zwykle wśród butwiejących liści oraz między mchami, głównie Sphagnum Ehr. i Polytrichum Dill.
